Hatchd privacy notice · Updated September 20, 2026
Hatchd is operated by MAD OVER TECHNOLOGY. This notice describes information used to provide the game and your choices.
What we store
Guest play creates a random player identifier and a private sign-in token. We store your chosen name, companion, puzzle attempts, progress, streak, earned items, settings, and friend connections. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, we use the provider's verified account identifier to restore progress. We do not receive your provider password.
Purchases and service providers
When mobile subscriptions are available, Apple or Google processes payment. RevenueCat helps us check purchase status; we do not store card numbers. Laravel Cloud hosts our service in the United States. OpenAI creates puzzle content using puzzle prompts, not your player profile or game history.
Your choices
Optional game analytics are off until you enable them in settings. You can change this later. Notifications require your permission. Friends can see your chosen name, companion and shared progress after you accept a connection. League participation is optional. We do not sell personal information. Advertising is disabled in the current preview.
Storage and security
Progress remains until you delete your player account. Optional analytics events are removed after 90 days. Our database backups are retained for up to seven days. Essential service logs may contain request metadata such as IP addresses to operate and secure the service. Your device stores a sign-in token and cached progress, so protect access to your device.
Export or delete
Open You in Hatchd to export your information or permanently delete your account, including guest accounts. See deletion instructions. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; manage subscriptions through that store.
Age and contact
Hatchd is intended for people aged 13 and older. Do not provide information about children under 13. Contact support@madovertech.io for privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or concerns.
